Born in San Juan Puerto Rico (1970) with a deep affinity for music, Bermudo found comfort and fulfillment in the process of writing songs and developing as a musician. However, the solitary nature of painting soon captivated his senses, drawing him into a world of boundless expression. Gravitating towards working on large canvases, he began an evolutionary process to explore space, color, composition and the
ever-changing exercise of creativity.
Beginning his artistic journey with acrylics, he quickly transitioned to oils and various oil mediums and was immediately captivated by their richness and versatility. With each brushstroke, he discovered new depths of expression, honing his skills and evolving his style over the years.

The move to Santa Fe, New Mexico, marked a significant turning point in his artistic path. Here, amidst the breathtaking landscapes he found a renewed sense of inspiration and purpose.
It was equivalent to a rebirth of his painting and creativity, as he immersed himself in the unique energy of the region.
Santa Fe became not just a home but a sanctuary for his artistic endeavors, fueling his passion and pushing him to new heights.
It is here that he continues to evolve as an artist, embracing the
dynamic spectrum of life with an open mind, heart and soul.
